The summer of 2017 had its own list of hits from the likes of The Chainsmokers and Zedd, including Calvin Harris with his “Funk Wav Bounces Vol.1”. Under this creative endeavor, listeners witnessed bodacious RnB grooves scattered throughout the album with noteworthy collaborators present such as Pharrell Williams, Ariana Grande, Khalid, A-Trak, John Legend, and so on. Tracks such as “Slide” and “Heatstroke” were widely received and even topped the charts on both sides of the Atlantic, accumulating as far as 2 billion streams on Spotify.
Many were eagerly expecting whether there ever would be a second installment, considering that the celebrated Dance music/pop producer has remained relatively under the radar with his “Love Regenerator” alias, a moniker devoted to revisiting the 90’s rave and house. Confirmation did come eventually in the form of a tweet from the mentioned act, claiming that “Vol. 2 is gonna be mad”.

While there haven’t been any further clues regarding the release date, one potential team-up might have already been teased by Charlie Puth on Twitter affirming his collaboration with the “One Kiss” producer.
