Hey everyone, it’s been some time! Finally, I am back with my batteries recharged and a metric tonne of new music to share. Anyways, “Into The Wild” is NCS’ final offering for this year, a hard trap tune made by new names for me: Zack Merci and Arcana. When the copyright-free imprint releases a genre uncommon to their roster (say hardstyle or Trap), there’s a solid reason to feel excited!
“Into The Wild” hasn’t been titled that only to lure eyes to it, as its ambiance reminds me of classic films the likes of Predator with that suspenseful guitar. The trap rhythm isn’t a game-changer by any means, yet reeking of fresh energy nonetheless; especially here, Arcana’s vocal fit snugly into this sort of warm temperament. The beat does plenty to say the least, bringing forth a danceable hook, prioritising the enigmatic mood from anticipating the upcoming seconds.
With pop-influence high in this part, the build-up shows up to the party, changing the scene to a more euphoric drop. Didn’t expected that! It was truly satisfying to hear the melodic riff amidst the dubstep outfit. While the first performance impressed me, the second one didn’t stand out for its unchanged comeback. Even if the formula works, I wanted more.
Zack and Arcana delivered a tune that will present itself above the fan’s mere expectations as it combines the aesthetics between radio-friendly and festival music, made to be listened by a diverse audience. A fantastic single to close the year from these producers and the NCS!
