This American producer surprised me with a crazy release, “Now Or Never”. I’m definitely impressed by kenji’s work!
I’m really proud to present you this super hybrid between future bass, trap (mainly) and bass house. This is a track that you can’t forget easily, it entertained me for almost the whole duration.
Yes, I said almost.
That’s because the kenji’s tune starts in a curious way. The first 30 seconds the first drop are quite generic, with a beautiful vocal chopped melody but without any particular feeling… But that’s important for the whole experience.
I was almost getting bored by it, you know, I have a bad relationship with future bass… But things changed. After a quick future bass drop, we have a sudden intern buildup and an aggressive trap “hidden” drop. This was a hell of surprise!
The super claws take us to another quick buildup and to the third drop, a wobbling (with bass house influences) composition of creative elements and crazy vocal chops!
The vocal chops, in fact, are the main elements of “Now Or Never”. kenji demonstrated that his particular style is suitable for both calm and aggressive atmospheres, using different drop styles and vibes, but the only fixed thing is that holy vocal.
I really liked this “clash with fixed details” idea. The producer kenji managed to produce something difficult and interesting, a “double” song, and I’m sure you will love it!
