• Firebeatz solo return on Spinnin’
• Laden with 90s vibe, future house structure
• Catchy vocal presence, jazzy influences

What is a more welcoming thing for the awaited summer than splendid House music to accompany with? Last Friday, the Dutch duo Firebeatz have come up with a splendid 90’s influenced production on Spinnin’, titled as “Bad Habit”. A noteworthy solitary comeback from the esteemed pair since last year, where they released a track with the native heavyweight Sander van Doorn.

Firebeatz have produced for more than a decade now, ranging their impressive versatility from house to electro. They have further been with major labels like Size, Spinnin, Armada & Revealed. During the years the dynamic duo have inspired upcoming producers with their energetic and creative productions. Their entrée for this year, “Soul Fifty”, along with veteran figures Chocolate Puma, revamped the memorable pre-noughties Dance vibes, equally laden with alluring and modernistic considerations.

Speaking about “Bad Habit”, one cannot emphasise enough on those 90’s soul house arrangements! The track starts with a bright riff, with the powerful vocal leading the stage. Introducing a low-end plenty garage bassline, the instrumental advances with a funky tone set to immediately embed on the mind of the listeners. Add to that the jazzy trademark of the dance piano conquering the lead (and having intense note velocities), the drop segment quaintly provides a wholesome experience!

“Bad Habit” pleasantly alludes to the sunnier days set before us after a dreary winter, while gracefully stepping aside from having a generic blueprint.
