W&W vs Blasterjaxx – Let The Music Take Control

May 22, 20192 min read

• Raging mood
• Epicness taken to the next level
• Brutal and festival-friendly drop

What happens when two monsters of Big Room make a track together? The answer is clear: “Hands up hands up high…” you know what it follows. Big Room wasn’t dead and it won’t ever be, at least not whilst these guys continue making music. Just before listening to this song, when you read that two names together you know what’s coming. And, of course, it never disappoints.

W&W joined Blasterjaxx for the third time, creating a mastodontic track called “Let The Music Take Control”. The epicness you would expect from this is present since the very first bars, when some big 2013ish supersaws smash our ears while an aggressive vocoded vocal declares perfectly the intentions of this song. A regular build up follows this section, preparing us for the most impressive part of this tune.

I don’t know how to explain this, this is just brutal. The power, the epicness and the aggressiveness of this drop are from another level. A massive kick guides us through this segment in the middle of the massive leads, which are able to fulfil all the space themselves, like an elephant in a house.
Best big room track of 2019? For me, it’s a yes.

The second break deserves a special mention, because the moment when the flute plays together with the vocoded vocal and some orchestral drums is just insane. I also enjoyed the variation in the last half of the final drop, making it fresher and even more rampant if that’s possible.

There’s a said that claims “shoemaker to your shoes”, and we can perfectly apply its meaning here. W&W and Blasterjaxx are ones of the biggest Big Room producers ever, and they continue showing it track after track, crying out that that genre is in their DNA. As the mantra says, “… cause Big Room never dies“. You know what precedes it.
