Today, we will be talking of about Netherlands based HIGHSOCIETY, and his latest release in the esteemed Barong Family. Titled as “Daydream“, the chiming and atmospheric vibe is further intensified with the enticing vocal from the talented vocalist Sunnie Williams.
This is not the first time this specific team-up has happened, but just a few months ago as well. The prequel to today’s song, “Like Hell” also featured similar structure and arrangements. The charming vocal worked along with a repeating and alluring pluck synth, as the transition slowly brings upon the drop segment. This portion introduces sharp saw synths, riffing along the rhythmic trap groove in the backdrop. Quite subtle and engaging nonetheless!
Talking about the latest single, the initiation feels synonymous to the previous collaboration. Starting with the dreamy and lovely vocal, while a similar pluck-y synth line supports along with a slightly muted screeching lead synth. Further, proceeding, all the harmonies and cadence get embedded in the drop section, as the sublime future bass components deliver the melodic and resonating tone.
