Energizing the platter for today is a track from two underrated names, Drama B and Besomorph. This tantalizing production happened to grab our attention immediately after a listen, with its intensity and attributes. Titled as “Stature“, this record happens to be lying in the domain of the Trap genre, with precise creativity from both the producer and vocalist involved.

Talking about these names, both of them have been actively crafting trap, also venturing into the utterly popular style of future bass. Moreover, this is the second collaboration between these artists. Their preceding joint-effort was “Paranoid“, a hip-hop/Trap tune drawing power from 808s and percussion.
The vocals from Drama B works wonderfully along with the instrumental from Besomorph, merging to create the requisite stamina. They further experimented in the following track, leaning more towards the trap schematics.

Talking about this single, it provides a solid starter by shining the limelight on vocal. This rapping vox from Drama B embeds a dynamic and energetic touch to the production. Underlying the vocal is the shuffling hi-hats, and a simple pad synth and atmosphere. But with an unexpected swiftness, the drop takes over with brassy hits, accompanied by pitched vocal lead synths arpeggiating. The beat follows a two kick pattern and another percussion, providing the classic genre feel. The dynamism in both the segments impressed us, without being repetitive. In particular, we loved the magnetic melody in the drop, unexpectedly dynamic and engaging.

In a short overview, “Stature” is a thumping tune amalgamated with powerful vocal hooks, thanks to the imposing presentation!
