• Released by Harsh Records
• Focuses on Hard-psy schematics
• Uplifting breakdown, hulking drop
Hard-impacting productions are always welcomed in any festival around the globe, especially the ones from up and coming. Today we will be diverting our attention to the newest release in Harsh Records, the label which is gaining reputation with its intensive and harder releases. This brand-new unveil is from talented South Korean native Hpnotic, entitled “Luminous“. This hulking instrumental embeds both uplifting and robust components throughout its playback.
Nowadays based in the city of Los Angeles, Hpnotic earned her name in the domain of hardstyle music. Although initiating her career in Seoul (South Korea), she has furthermore performed in Defqon 1, Q-Base, to name some. A quick visit to her SoundCloud page allowed us to listen to
the preceding works, and we were impressed. The last single from her, “Wasteland“, featured atmospheric breakdown paired with a contrasting drop at first. But the following segments of this production aim at bringing more of that vibe, and utilizes melodic and striking drop as a finisher. An effective song, if not unique and rhythmic!
Talking about “Luminous”, a brief and ear-thudding introduction leads towards the
breakdown. Further there, an alluring vocal snippet leads the resonating Arp synth in
the backdrop. While this portion of this record hooks the listener, the next one
hits with psy-bassline merged with slightly distorted thump-y kicks. Amalgamation of
the styles distinct styles is notable here, as the song switches swiftly from the warm and engaging to the frenetic elements easily.
Concluding, it would be wise to say this new release is made precisely for the dance-floors, ascertaining the power-packed in it!
