“Otherside” is a legendary song, one of the most famous RHCP hits, but Two Friends managed to create something stunning without ruining it. It isn’t easy.

The risk of making a remix that kills the original atmosphere, when reworking certain songs, it’s extremely high. Plus, add the fact that “Otherside” is not an EDM song, and that it has been remixed various times in the past (another great remix we suggest is by GAMPER & DADONI) to the situation… The American duo found a tough challenge. And they won it.

Two Friends keep delighting us, year after year. Their bouncy and happy future house of 2016 has switched into an always happy future bass style, and it’s a choice that we disliked, but the results are always great. We must be honest: the “old” Two Friends amazed us, but the “new” ones kept the same excellent quality. Their music is simply “energetic“, an explosion of sparkling vibes and positivity.

In this remix, we easily find their signature sound, with the addition of the legendary atmosphere created by “Otherside”. As already said, this environment is sacred and easy to destroy: Two Friends valorized it, instead.

After the classic breakdown, a relaxing buildup takes us to the amazing drop. There isn’t very much to say here: the complexity of the trap structure is balanced by a tidy and clean bassline. The various elements (original vocal shots included) are added in a colourful composition, creating an explosion of creativity and dynamism. Two Friends rarely disappoints, and in this case, they did their best. Stunning remix.
