We have once again with us, the opportunity of talking about a genuine and hardworking talent, Buzz Low.
We talked about him a mere three months ago, when he released his club-friendly single “Get It”. This Netherlands based artist has returned with gusto, this time with an official remix. Displaying his signature sounds and groove, he worked on the poppy original into a more shuffling and swirling version. He has reworked on Delta Jack’s record “Say What You Like”, which got revealed in the eminent independent label of Strange Fruits.

Before we go ahead, a brief talk about the original would clarify the remixes even more.

Taking inspiration from the slower deep house schematics, it featured an alluring vocal complemented with soulful piano melodies. The sonorous bassline pumped in the energy, making it peppy and radio-ready. However, this delectable song got two remixes up till now, one crafted by ADAGIO, an Israelian duo. Adding more to the platter, the pair embedded club elements, rendering it into future house. Following this creative remix is Buzz Low’s retake, who also focused on providing a funkier instrumental. Adding more pace and rhythm, this remix focuses on keeping the feel-good vibes with a dynamic synth and bassline.

With the familiar charming vocal, the breakdown starts with a calm atmosphere. Transitioning to a break-beat, it introduces the melody from the oncoming drop. A clean sweep escalates it into the drop, which amps the stamina in an instance. Materializing with metallic future-y synths, the drop brings in an arsenal of instruments. The bassline gives the bouncy feeling, while the synths do a one-man job of controlling the upfront. Together, this frisky combination works with efficacy.

In a few words, this remix uses the subtle nuances of the original while delivering ample animated vibes to the listener. Buzz Low is certainly a talent to be watched this year!
