Yesteryear’s December introduced us to a talented musician from Greece, going by the name of Padé. Unveiling an exquisite musical work titled “The Olive” on KSHMR’s esteemed label Dharma Worldwide, Padé amazed and garnered the appreciation of fans & critics alike. Today we will be talking about his delectable remix of “Oniro Mou”, which has been sung by the Greek vocalist Gianna Terzi and has been released on a new label “Ethnic Vibe” as a free download!
For many who may not know, Padé was discovered by KSHMR during a Facebook live stream by Spinnin Talent Pool. While checking various other productions, the American producer stumbled upon Padé’s work and instantly liked and savoured it. Following his release on Dharma, we held an exclusive interview with Padé, in which we came to know about his origins, his undiluted passion for music, and a lot more.
This particular remix focuses on the familiar sounds from “The Olive”. For those who were allured by the impeccable live violin played by Stratis Skarakis, they are sure to be impressed again. While the breakdown emphasizes on the charming vocals, the following laid back and vibrant drop emanates beautiful harmonics. Led by a subtle violin melody, the groove set in the background swirls along with it. The overall song churns the most out of the original soundtrack, adding even catchier and vivid elements.
The title “Oniro Mou” literally translates to “My dream” and Padé has surely delivered a splendid work at invigorating the story within the track. Focusing on the composition, any listener with a keen ear would realize that the percussions used in the track are unconventional, and our best guess is that these are naturally recorded sounds as can be found on Padé’s own sample library known as “Noise Invasion”. This song is a must-have for all who love chill and laidback songs and also for those who love violins!
All in all, we can conclude that Padé certainly knows how to craft a delightful tune, presenting a narrative and engaging musical work every time!
