Showcasing an unceasing consistency, the adept Dutch DJ/Producer Jack Wins has unveiled another enchanting and rhythmic work, this time alongside talented millennial singer Caitlyn Scarlett. Together, this team has concocted a delightful song titled “Freewheelin”. Released on the eminent label Axtone, this debut is totally imposing dominance.
Someone raised his eyebrows when reading a future house name on the Axwell’s label, but the result is completely satisfying. We are happy to see that Jack Wins brought his unique style there, adapting the sound to a groovy fanbase while keeping its identity.
With a responsibility of introducing his distinctive house style to Axtone, Jack Wins did it with flair. Embedding the track with an offbeat – swingy melody and intense deep bassline synth, he kept no compromises on groove and energy. Meanwhile, the peppy and lively vocal from Caitlyn ensures to ensnare the listener, maintaining the catchiness without slacking. Without doubt, both the unique production and vivid vocal encompass each other, in turn making this song delectable.
Initiating with a simplistic intro, “Freewheelin'” introduces the charming vocal, cruising as a subtle breakbeat comes up in the backdrop of the breakdown. The tone intensifies as the synths come up with the brief riser, transitioning to an enticing drop. A usual deep bassline synth edges over, while a brass shot plays over alternatively. The uncommon yet striking melody gives a new freshness to the drop, while the well-chosen components of the drop do their job proficiently.
In all, a superlative work from this pair, and as expected, Jack Wins continues his record of keeping his fans contented with his work.
