We rarely review this kind of chill house, but this remix left us with our mouths open.
The German duo Younotus is renowned for their elegant style. They released a series of successful hits, but their edit of “Soaking Lovers” is definitely a masterpiece. Their classy approach is wonderful, with a simple exposition of sounds they produced an out of world song.
“Soaking Lovers” is a great collaboration between the German group BOiCE and Feline. The artists already introduced this unique lead which is the main element of the song. That calm synth is so elegant and catchy that it literally imparts a classy mood to the song, but we felt that its complete potential was not fully exploited.
That’s when Younotus entered in the game with a solid kick, a grooving bassline, and some hypnotic percussions.
That’s how remixes should be made.
Younotus sped up the rhythm, somehow still maintaining the original catchiness, and worked on finer details, increasing the quality to an unimaginable level.
The remix begins in a calm way, Feline’s vocal plays, introducing a calm atmosphere. Then, after a brief riser, the drop shocked us.
It’s not easy to describe it, it’s just CATCHY.
“Soaking Lovers” is a tune to put on repeat mode. Its hypnotic mood makes it unique, and even though we rarely listen to these sort of classy tropical sounds, today we are proud to share this literal masterpiece.
