Today we have a kinetic electro house track, that boasts of an aggressive drop and catchy breakdown, a perfect combination. “Renegade” has been crafted with precision by two talented producers from Sweden, WOXX and Gustaf Bjornberg!

The track initiates with a typical big room house intro, with groovy percussion in the backdrop to warm up and bring in the stamina. Since the beginning, the two artists try to impress the listener with energy and dynamism!

The breakdown brings a catchy melody with a typical electro house pluck, with a distorted pad in the background. Without much delay, the dazzling super saw comes in, playing out the melody with vigour. Escalating the energy with a kick, the riser comes in smoothly and lets the powerful and dynamic drop impact.

The drop is quite the beast, without doubt. With small rapid notes playing out, it has a great dynamism, even if the rhythm is a bit slower than usual. “Renegade” has a massive drop, thanks to the heavy kick too, and even if it’s a bit generic, it does its job efficiently. It’s by far my favorite part of the song.

The second “festival trap” bring a little bit of freshness, and I must admit that it works. I enjoyed the way the big room lead switches to a trap one, and the kick is lovely here too! Definitively well done!

In my opinion, “Renegade” sets up splendid amount of strength and intensity, and although it strays a bit towards generic big room, it doesn’t fail to do its job. WOXX and Gustaf Bjornberg didn’t disappoint, and I suggest to keep an eye on them in the future, especially if you are a big room fan!
