The Dutch Revealed talent Maddix is once again back with a monstrous tune.
“Trabanca”, the long-awaited collaboration with JUNIOR, has already caught the attention of the EDM fans (spot number 61 in the Top 100 Beatport Big Room Chart after only a day). This big room track delight with its intense energy, frenetic rhythm, and catchy structure.
First of all, the name is quite mysterious: “Trabanca”, in Galizian (a dialect spoken in a Spanish region), means “locker”. Since one of the producers is from Taiwan, and the other one is Dutch, this is an interesting linguistic choice!
However, what we care the most is the huge “Trabanca” drop!
The bassline is out of mind, a Maddix’s work of art, but the electro lead is continuously hitting the ears in a clean but dynamic drop part. The metallic ills added are probably a JUNIOR idea, and they gave a slightly “bass house” touch to the song. Needless to say that they were a gorgeous idea!
The break part starts in a predictable way, but the catchy melody and the innovative buildup partially forgive this detail. In conclusion, it’s a nice break, it helps in creating the right hype for the splendid drop.
Maddix and JUNIOR created something really beautiful, maybe the best big room track of the month. “Trabanca” manages well to bring some innovation and freshness to the scene, while keeping the classic big room structure. Well produced, really well produced…
