Musical freedom has been releasing energetic tunes lately, like the splendid aggressive remix of “Encore” by Afrojack and SAYMYNAME, and the ear-catchy release from Mike Williams, “Melody”.
This time latest MF release is something unusual for the Tiesto’s label: trap.
Produced by the upcoming talented artists IZII and Holly, featuring the vocal of Nic Tapper, “Drama” is ready to surprise. The song entirely focuses on the subtle vocal rap from Nic Tapper, which forms the main element for the breakdown. Keeping the majestic hip-hop tone, the drop comes in after a minute smoothly, bringing in more energy to supplement the groove.
The drop consists of some glitchy, metallic and unique synths backed with solid trap drums. It hits with the perfect energy expected after the nervous buildup. Without introducing many elements apart from the synths and drums, the drop manages to keep the dynamics precisely.

In overall, this production tends more towards contemporary hip-hop releases, and certainly brings in a variety of the releases MF has been doing lately. Looking forward to this kind of experimental releases in the future by the label!
