I wasn’t really expecting that from “Second Life”. Absolutely not.

I’m glad to see that Revealed, with “TING!” and this collab between Sandro Silva and Ricky George, is giving space to experimental concepts.

The experience of the Dutch veteran teamed up with the freshness brought by the young Ricky George. “Second Life”, the result, is something underground and mysterious.
This new release is a trap/jersey track, and even if Sandro Silva really likes to try new things, I was confused at first.

Aggressiveness as its finest, of course. The trap lead smashed me immediately, because I wasn’t expecting that. The intro, in fact, is relaxing, with some hardstyle vibes but a soft atmosphere given by the vocal chops. Then, the buildup immediately showed me that I needed to prepare for the drop.

The first drop has the Sandro Silva lead, but then it slowly escalates into the trap/jersey part later. I liked how the producers used the first drop in a “classic” way (it’s almost electro house), so “Second Life” is not completely experimental.

In my opinion, it’s a well-made song. The break is a bit short and minimal, but the drop is massive and interesting, so I’m not disappointed.

It has even some emotional vibes in the break, so this experiment, for me, it’s succeeded. Let’s wait a while and control the fans’ reactions, however.
