Eiffel 65 – Blue (Kallau Remix)

“Blue” is one of the most important tracks in the EDM history. Produced by Eiffel 65 in 1999, this hit revolutionized the entire electronic scene. In addition, I had the honor of listening to it live, played by one of the components of the group, so it means a lot to me.

During the years, “Blue” has been remixed by hundreds of producers, usually with generic results.
Today it’s not that case.

Kallau from Brazil put his talented hands over it, dropping a beautiful and entertaining dark progressive bootleg. I really appreciated it so I think that it’s the case for showing you this underrated producer.

In a kind of darker “W&W progressive style”, the bootleg features the historic vocal, the classic melody and a crazy bassline. With a courageous choice, Kallau slightly modified the melody.

The result is not as catchy as the old one, but still, a creative choice, because I’m tired to hear bootlegs with the same melody and a different lead. This risky choice made the “Blue” bootleg one step further than the majority of the other versions.

Obviously the incredible ability of this talent to infuse energy in the lead helper the drop to become a bomb, aggressive and enjoyable. I loved it, from the bassline to the energetic kick. The melody, as said, is a bit unexpected but a joyful idea.

In conclusion, I really suggest checking this new version out. Finally something different!
