• Lively and catchy melody
• Alluring rhythms
• Well-made instrumental
Just a few weeks ago, we mentioned about the talented and uprising artists named Uplink, hailing from Germany. This time around, they have joined forces with the young Spanish talent Distrion. The trio has crafted an impressive production for the ears, titled as “Laguna”. With a certain cavorting tone, this track sticks to the dashing Future Bounce schematics we all have come to love and appreciate. It has been selected as one of the official songs for the Future ESL Gaming Championship, an important gaming tournament in Birmingham.
While the German duology recently released their alluring and melodic new single “Together” (which we talked about in of our previous reviews), the Bilbao native on the other hand recently debuted on Dutch front-running label Revealed Recordings. The song, named “Feel Alive”, delivered creativity with a slightly different than usual drop segment! Created together with Jack & James, we received a fresh release with chiming synths and a shuffling bassline to a rather progressive style beat. Nonetheless, this record proved to be a unique one on the platter!
Talking about today’s subject, the instrumental begins with a funky and animated melody… While the familiar sharp saw synths take the lead quickly. Without much delay further, the next section intensifies and elevates with the bassline subtly materializes. The riser swiftly pulls the curtain off the drop, as it kicks in with an unexpected fervour. Guiding the drop, the instruments add a slick groove to the whole production, not to mention the catchy and zest-y vibe which this track creates effortlessly.
Bottomline, “Laguna” offers a dance-able and cadence-filled experience throughout the playback, without getting superficially repetitive.
