What a beautiful tune from Exposed! I’m really fortunate to review this production, this just left me in awe. Crafted by Dutch producer Matt Roux and Robbie Koex from Canada, together with the epic vocal from Lunayru, “Bittersweet” will catch your heart right after the first listen.
The track kick starts with an energetic intro, introducing the melodical and sharp basslines, rolling into the breakdown.
The breakdown welcomes you with Lunayru’s luscious vocal, and without any doubt, its charm will have your attention from the very first second!
The riser comes in with vocal playing over it, a tonal rising fx underneath it and leading into the momentous drop.
The drop really did its magic! No words to say! The emotional and uplifting melody powered by powerful electro-progressive synths and dominating basslines backing it with full force, the drop absolutely impacts rightly.
The drop ends to bring in the second breakdown, successfully providing a sequel to the imposing first breakdown briefly, before introducing the strong saw synths supporting the vocals. This moment was intense.
A few more things which I would like to appreciate is the perfect mixdown and master, the vocal lead throughout the track without any struggle, and the synth and basslines having the perfect drive and dynamics! Also, a worth mentioning thing is the cover art, and doubtlessly, Exposed knows the perfect recipe for making album arts. This cover art particularly impressed me, having mystical and abstract elements in a unique manner. Absolutely creative and good for the eyes, in addition!
Concluding, I would say that Matt Roux, Robbie Koex and Lunayru have impressed me beyond expectations, not to mention the hard work of the producers and vocalist involved in this track. Super quality track!
