RudeLies & Shiv – Salt (Ft. Rosendale)

Yep, future bass.
But if you know Rudelies, you can stay calm. “Salt” is not a generic track. Absolutely not.

The aggressive style (kinda similar to Brooks one) of the Swedish duo is ready to surprise the fans with an elegant hybrid between future bass and future bounce. The two young talents teamed up with the even younger talent SHIV (interesting producer, I suggest checking him out) and the American singer Rosendale! I didn’t have doubts about the quality of the vocal because I remember the splendid Rosendale job in “Close To You” (by Loax and Aventry)!

The track has throughout kept the funky and alluring sound with it: it’s obvious that they have experimented heavily. “Salt” starts with a chiming pluck, future bounce style... Ingenious! Instead of using a common sample, they showed their personality and added more freshness using another genre’s element!

The vocal comes in perfectly, keeping a great groove, while a dance piano comes in playing chords matching perfectly. Rosendale, as said, is an awesome singer!

The riser comes in softly and leads into the drop. It’s just amazing! The elements that have been used feel like they are originally more future house/bounce, but here again, they have adeptly used this sounds knowing it would surely make it even more zesty and lively. The combination of the sounds along with the melody is just really impressive!

The drop gives away to the second break, where the vocal keeps the charm and interest. Without many complex elements, the break does it job perfectly. The riser again shows up and gently leads to the imposing drop.
This track certainly is an ear candy and it definitely is going to remain one of my top favorites future bass tunes!

A round of applause for RudeLies, Shiv and Rosendale!
