What a fresh future bounce tune we have there!
Nicko Mills from Sweden and Max Fail from Germany teamed up and released “Hold Me Back” on Future House Cloud, a network very famous for the future house lovers!

As every release by FHC, the quality level is very high, but “Hold Me Back” impressed me for two main details. The melody, and the vocal chops style.
The two young talents focused very much on the vocal chops: the intro is basically a complex chopped scheme with a soft piano. This part left me slightly surprised at first, but then, when more vocal elements were added, the final result was incredibly interesting!

The drop summarized all the splendid work on the vocal: energetic, catchy, but the vocal is still there, heavily modified.

So, in few words, the tune is totally composed by a vocal chop melody, used with different type of leads, and this idea is really clever!
The overall effect is something that can easily be stuck in your mind, thanks to its catchiness and it’s “human” vibes.

Simple scheme, but cool idea. “Hold Me Back” is a genial and cool discovery!
