The Dutch duo Vicetone is back on Spinnin’ with a delicious future track, “Collide”.
The song, featuring a splendid vocal by Rosi Golan, is one of the most enjoyable Spinnin’ releases of the month, for me.
I am following those guys since the beginning, and even if they changed genre, I must admit that I am amazed. The vocal chops are simply stunning!
Let’s start from the beginning.
First of all, Rosi Golan is a great singer!
This is her debut in the electronic world (she mainly sings calm pop), but that’s her point of strength! Her voice is fresh and emotional, and, even if I wasn’t aware of her popularity, I think she deserves it! She is something new in the scene.
Let’s not forget the sublime Vicetone job: first, they used a chilly break, emphasizing the vocal. Second, they produced a stunning vocal transition: I really loved how Rosi’s voice became a chopped melody so easily. Smooth and creative.
The drop is pretty nice, the typical summer future house you can find around with a little bit of originality. In my opinion, the guitar riff in the second part is a fantastic choice! Nostalgic and efficient, that’s the Vicetone style I like!
Plus, the more I listen to Rosi Golan voice, the more becomes catchier!
The structure of “Collide” is simple, but in its simpleness, it manages to entertain. It’s not a masterpiece, but I found it really enjoyable!
Vicetone dropped the right summer hit. I am pretty sure that the single will receive a good success, because, well… It entertains. I was expecting something more, but I can’t really complain about that. That’s beautiful future house music!
