89/100

Delivering one of the most promising collaborations, Indo-American musical prodigy KSHMR has once again joined forces with the notable vocalist Sidnie Tipton!
The duo reunited to craft the sequel to the renowned track “Wildcard”, entitled “House Of Cards”.

The year of 2016 saw KSHMR setting standards in the scene with his creative productions. Adeptly infusing exotic Indian/Arabic sounds with western dance music, he made his signature sound distinctive and intense.

It was during this year he unveiled his exquisite work “Wildcard”, which subsequently got released on Musical Freedom. The major success of this production ensured that a follow-up was sure to happen. Now, talking about the differences. While “Wildcard” was an energetic progressive house release, “House Of Cards” follows an even more surprising scheme of electro/synth-pop.

However, both of these songs consist of ear-hooking melodies and nonetheless, peppiness. Initiating with the elegant vocal, “House Of Cards” starts with a calm and catchy atmosphere. Smoothly cruising, the tones escalate as the snazzy drum groove swiftly brings in the slick guitar riff. The ensuing synth wave drop gives the lovely electric guitar the lead role, while the upbeat backdrop makes it funky and enticing.

In a few words, a remarkable and genuine idea from KSHMR! This production is a deserving follow-up without any doubt. KSHMR’s versatile production style undoubtedly shows its flair!
