“How Low” is a new Musical Freedom release, another interesting bass house tune crafted by a veteran of Tiesto’s label, John Christian and a new talented duo from America, VAVO. After a couple of very successful reworks (“Astronomia 2k17” and a “Scared To Be Lonely” bootleg), the duo finally released a song on a major label! In addition to this, “How Low” features the experience and quality of John Christian, who aided VAVO to give the “bass house” imprint.
VAVO generally produce progressive house, so this aggressive sound is quite a surprise! However, they are versatile and they have mainly sculpted the melodic side of the song. In fact, “How Low”, still respecting the bass house guidelines, presents a catchy and frenetic melody that makes it very creative! That’s clearly a product from VAVO’s point of view who gave more importance to the melody.
Needless to say that John Christian too did a fabulous job! The dirty bass house lead is incredible and should we talk about the buildup? A classic masterpiece. The producer managed to create a buildup that builds a great hype for the catchy drop. “How Low” may not be a masterpiece, but it brings entertainment, creativity, and catchy vibes all together. This is the bass house that deserves to be on Musical Freedom. VAVO didn’t disappoint, and John Christian, once again, showed that he’s simply incapable of making a bad song.
