Wav3motion – I Don’t Know

July 21, 20212 min read

• Great vocal yet lacks euphoria
• Exquisite melody
• Cut-and-dried drop

DWX copyright free imprint’s Instagram account was made offline several months ago, but I heard the sub-label has great artists and its releases are interesting. They finally happened to publish a new work baked fresh from the lab of Wav3motion, a promising upcoming name. The Brazilian producer has got plenty talent to get promoted to the main label itself, and “I Don’t Know” is the passport which might actually make it possible.

The vocal, although captivating to certain standards, has a dearth of energy which instead could have turned this song more memorable. That is compensated with its adept usage in the drop, especially the one in first half. The song might have standardized drops or a commonplace format of existence, but its features are appreciable enough to get hooked by.

Interchanging between Rawstyle and SZP-styled kicks, Wav3motion takes advantage of a near-precious and enduring melody to create two fantastic drops: the second one arrives with potent kicks, and the one latter is even better despite falling prey to repetitiveness. It alters with the riff and hence repeats the prior segment, without straying to any experiments.

“I Don’t Know” is a production that aces with its impressive harmony and vibrant climaxes, the vocal adding a breath of life. The result itself is a cocktail that is bittersweet and leaves a satisfactory aftertaste, vouching for its creator!
