• Delicate vocals, alluring breakdown
• Extremely danceable and grabby
• Panda Eyes´distinctive sound
If you happen to be delving into dubstep and other similar low-end plenty genres, you will probably know about Panda Eyes. If a layman, I will explain who he is briefly. He gained traction in the industry, thanks to his discography being published on the app “Geometry Dash” for smartphones, such as “Colorblind”. He started creating dubstep on Disciple, and now he traded his signature to come back to his roots, making a splendid track that throws back me to his primordial projects.
Commencing with a talking snippet, the build-up materializes and starts with a vocal teasing the potential that this particular number has. The drop is focused on laid-back and easy vibes, without forgetting its original purpose as a very rhythmically and memorable sound. Obviously, there is a following drop, featuring a quality bassline and strong kicks, being more aggressive and faster than the first one. In my opinion, I prefer the latter as it has the stamina requisite for a festival banger and make some powerful mashups. Panda Eyes is taking his signature sound to another level, all credits to releases like “Think Different” with Gabriel Guardian or “Violence” with Nasko. I love the path that he is heading over the last few months, focusing on a chill/trap vibes and, sometimes heavy dubstep sounds that are influenced of his Disciple instrumentals.
The mentioned artist has undoubtedly created an uncut gem, a pleasure to hear and dance to. Nice to see that he tried to be imaginative and create creative songs without being unnecessarily repetitive.
