Holden Redd & Max CG – Without You (feat. Guille Bujalance & Ruth Schwerth)

October 17, 20192 min read

• Outstanding double vocal performance
• Sweet base, when necessary
• Delicate game of rhythmic changes

This quartet of two producers (Holden Redd & Max CG) and two singers (Guille Bujalance & Ruth Schwerth) led me to a sensational experience today! “Without You” is a delicate progressive house composition that I decided to present to you while taking a little pause between all these samplers.

Rhythms are crazy; it’s ADE week, we are reviewing so many songs… We are rushing the job a little bit. I needed some peace, and luckily I found this gem. “Without You” takes inspiration from Manse’s sweet vibes and adds a certain aggressiveness in the drop’s bassline. It’s a combination that I’ve heard hundreds of times, but it still manages to get me!

I think that the point of strength of the Glow Records release is the excellent vocal department. Guille Bujalance and Ruth Schwerth delicately alternate their voices, adding energy and intimacy when necessary. Holden Redd and Max CG built their structure around the sequence mentioned above, accompanying it with experience and a pinch of subtle intelligence. The song accelerates when necessary, but takes long breaks to show its vibrant yet relaxing aura in the breakdown. These cinematic sequences add a special touch to the already intriguing atmosphere!

These producers had my attention after a couple of great releases on Trano Recordings, and finally, I can show you an example of their skills. “Without You” is, concluding, an excellent piece of the progressive house!
