• Uplifting vocal performance
• Vibrant and atmospheric tone
• Memorable melodic hook
Monday mornings are always dreary… Back to being routine after two long, yet incomprehensibly brief weekend days is a challenge for many. As usual, we turn to music for adding a hint of zest, listening to whatever playlists our streaming apps offer. Eventually, we struck upon a quite ear-pleasant and distinctive work from the uprising Swedish duo, Trilane. Their latest offering, “Never Forget”, features the Dutch hotshot Nicky Romero to embed his own twist as an edit.
Furthermore, talented singer Tom Noah has voiced the said instrumental, making it even more appealing than expected!
We have earlier talked about Trilane, as they have made quite the imprint on the venerated Protocol Recordings. Striking out with their ariose and dance-floor compatible signature, the Progressive House pair have gathered multitude of audience satisfaction, including ours. We discussed “Believe”, which was revealed late of August this year. Demiurgic, the single maintained a dreamy and ethereal feels with an elegant piano riff, with the effective vocal presence throughout.
Initiating with melancholic yet uplifting vox, “Never Forget” kick starts with the limelight majorly on the leading component. Without much of a delay, the drop synths sweep in along with the riser. The drop segment, upon entering, materializes with the familiar anthem-approved synthline (we did felt Nicky Romero made his touch here perhaps?). The bassline provides an efficacious companionship, without overwhelming the hook and atmosphere. Nonetheless, a well-crafted climactic section!
In a few words, “Never Forget” once again takes the cake with the feel-good vocal, assisted with vibrant and alluring arrangements from the renowned triumvirate.
