Bear Grillz is not a new player debuting in the game of EDM, as he has already set a benchmark in the bass music scene. With his captivating style, he has released in leading imprints like Firepower, Deadbeats, Monstercat, Dim Mak and many more. He’s a star in the scene with the likes & collaborations of Sullivan King, Kompany, Terravita and even a support from Diplo, and an official remix for Zeds Dead. On the flipside, this also features vocals from the man who started his impressive career through this genre, Micah Martin. His versatility is still evident in this team-up, as he has already put his charming vocal on collaborations with Joey Dale & Adventurer, Brooks, and now this is his comeback to Dubstep & Riddim domain.

Bear initiates this beast of a track with a rather Mid-Tempo pop arrangements, giving the audience a taste of something different from him. The vocals showcase optimism and courageous tone in this section to fit the ongoing vibes. This then takes a different direction, with an abrupt and swift build-up and tempo switch. This is where Grillz’s signature gets more evident, and the style of vocal goes darker and raging. Completely different flair from what he performed before, but still captivating. The drop materializes, and it’s a mix of his classic Dubstep with riddim. The drums sound more acoustic compared to some of the Bear’s previous works. In overall a clean, punchy drop!

When this segment ends, the dark theme with snare claps still continue along with a funky guitar in the background (resembling to Skrillex & Damian Marley’s classic ‘Make It Bun Dem’). Followed by the next build-up, which is backed up by the heavy vocal, it is followed up by another 8bit square themed riser. The second drop is not as long as its predecessor, but it leaves us with an ending which resonates lyrics from the introduction.

Overall, this is one of those records that convey a roller-coaster of emotions, and when it’s done right, the listener can feel the narrative flow, a trip anyone would love to take and experience again. The themes chosen for the song makes it unique and distinctive!
