Marc Benjamin – Fall For You

March 4, 20192 min read

• Alluring vocal hook
• Rhythmic drop
• Repetitive arrangements

Among the various other new songs, we have the new release from Netherlands based DJ/Producer Marc Benjamin. He has been recently revealing his works in the leading Dutch label of Protocol Recordings. Releasing his second record for this year, “Fall For You” is a combination of subtle vibes and the Future House sound.

Adding more impressive songs to his discography, we all can agree that his groovy Electro House production “Blaster” proved to be a solid instrumental soon after its release. However, the talented Dutchman further unveiled “Unbreakable Hearts“, along with N3ON and talented vocalist Shanee, and “Devil In Disguise” with JPB. The former one delivered charming yet energetic progressive house vibes, and the latter was pop oriented but a catchy work nonetheless.

Talking about our today’s single, the initiation happens with a leading female vocal. The backdrop comprises the ricocheting plucky synth sounds, which rises along with the elevating tone in the song. The riser soon after follows, bringing in the rhythmic drop segment. Along with sonorous bassline and brass like synths, this section provides a refreshing and shuffling experience. However, it compromises due to the slightly repetitive and generic nature, with fewer variations in the components. Nonetheless, “Fall For You” overall manages to amuse the ears with the enticing and alluring tone… Nothing special, but it does its honest job.

Summarizing, “Fall For You” is a deserved material for the clubs, but distances itself away from the vigorous and proper festival sound. Acceptable release from the Protocol veteran.
