Andrew Rayel Ft. Lola Blanc – Horizon (KRMB Remix)

February 4, 20192 min read

• Fast paced drop
• Fitting bassline and melody hook
• Adds festival vibes

For today, we have an interesting work from a young talent to talk about. This article will be focusing on the latest remix done by up a coming Algerian name KRMB. Reworking on Andrew Rayel’s recent release “Horizon“, which also features the charming voice ofLola Blanc, this progressive house twist adds up to another notch of emotions and energy.

Before we proceed with the remix, let us discuss a bit about the original. Released in inHarmony records, the song garnered the distinctive signature, along with the leading voice. While the breakdown efficiently focuses on the atmosphere, the drop features the main melody, played back by brute saw synths. There was another version which followed, called “Aether Mix“, which included an adrenaline-embedded introductory and overall arrangement. However, today’s remix does the same work with a different zest and sound selection.

Keeping along the same elements, the breakdown brims with the same encompassing and atmospheric tone. However, a brief and swift transition brings along the drop synths, and the drop segment itself. Here, the remix efficiently introduces a fast-paced melody hook, which joins forces with a fitting bassline to provide that dynamic feel. Without falling out of the sync or rhythm, this portion of the production easily delivers that groove which can be considered for any proper festival mix!

In short, this version of “Horizon” from KRMB stands out from the rest out there, achieving the polish sound we can expect otherwise from an official remix.
