We have one last “WHAT IF?” before the year ends! Today we want to speculate a crazy collaboration between Blasterjaxx & Tujamo, with a classic scream-style vocal by Lil Jon. The German hitmaker Tujamo had a forgettable 2018 with very few releases, but every EDM fan knows his signature bouncy sound. Since the release of “Who“, inarguably his biggest hit with Planet Funk, this producer released a plethora of festival bangers. Speaking of bangers, Blasterjaxx is almost synonymous to this term for many EDM fans, us not being an exception. The Dutch duo is currently one of the most beloved and appreciated by the scene in terms of Big Room sounds.
So, how do we imagine “One More Shot” to be like? For us, it will be a party starter, with a signature bouncy lead by Tujamo accompanied by a crazy big room structure by the Dutch artists. Lil Jon is the perfect vocalist for this kind of music: his unique screaming vocal adds the necessary stamina to an already aggressive production. The “one more shot, one more shot” loop is already stuck in our heads, even though it’s imaginary. The result would be extremely catchy as well as energetic if they manage to execute it well.
We imagine two different drops: the first is more Tujamo-oriented, with his unique sounds and a catchy melody, while Blasterjaxx will add their influence in the second one, using a more complex melody and some twists in the bassline. It won’t be a different tune regarding creativity, but surely a perfect banger for live exhibitions and festivals! The label, of course, will be Blasterjaxx’s Maxximize Records!
