Lil Pump is jokingly our mascotte. The controversial American rapper is always in our hearts and finally today we can review something by him while being serious. We must thank VITIZE for it, the German duo that produced one of the best bootlegs we have heard in a while.

But first, we must add a couple of lines about the original song, “Arms Around You“. It’s a post-mortem collab between Mr. Pump and XXXTentacion, with the additional support of Maluma and Swae Lee. We are still shocked by the premature death of XXX, but all those post-mortem songs don’t make us crazy. We would have liked something more aggressive, in this case…

VITIZE read our minds, added exactly what it was needed, and kept it a surprise. There is no way you can predict that the patient base will suddenly give space to a destructive bass house drop! We love being surprised, and that’s exactly what you need to do to make it happen!
This bass house drop fits well in the production, thanks to particular attention given to the long transition which was necessary in this case. We are fascinated by its sudden, brutal energy, the creative lead, and the way it brings dynamism while maintaining a clear and solid structure. It’s not too chaotic like other bass house drops, and that’s a big point of strength!

In conclusion, VITIZE confirm our good impression of them. They are quickly getting noticed with good productions like this one, with releases on Revealed.dj (recommended!), OTW, R3SPAWNED Records and Playbox, all with their distinctive, aggressive sound. Keep an eye on them.
