2 years have passed already.
Wow.
Today I won’t talk about a song, but about us, the blog we created and we are running with passion and dedication. How did everything start?
Exactly 2 years ago, I was bored, trying to find a direction for my life. I was in an empty period, nothing seemed interesting to me, except for EDM. I decided to write down my thoughts about the music I was listening to every day. I had that idea while reading Youtube comments: under many EDM songs there were many people leaving a quick and unformal feedback. I wanted to do something similar, but longer, with a rating, and on a Facebook page. It was a courageous idea, considering that English isn’t my main language and I didn’t have particular technical skills of the genre. I just wanted to share my thoughts about music, nothing more.
Week after week, I started to get noticed by fans, and all the little achievements I was obtaining (100 followers, the like of a famous producer, a nice comment of a fan) helped me very much during that difficult period.
EDM Reviewer hasn’t changed very much during those two years. Sure, now we are a team (a fantastic team, I must add), the designs are improved and the quality (and the amount) of the reviews increased as well… But the original passion is always the same.
Even if we had problems and hard times, we surpassed them, and all the nice things that we created will remain an unforgettable experience. The best thing that EDM Reviewer brought to me is the awesome community behind it. That’s why I want to add that without you fans, we are nothing. It’s because of you and your support that we are able to keep working with the right passion.
