• Informally known as the “Clock ID”
• Switches between different styles for variations
• Hypnotic melodies played by strapping synths
Just as the August fades away for the fall to set in, we have yet another booming production to talk about. This time, it’s from none other than the Dutch powerhouse W&W, often labelling themselves as their successful alternative project NWYR. With passing time, there are no doubts left about how proficient and adept they have proved themselves with consecutive releases. Previous Monday finally revealed “Time Spiral”, which is another of the endeared IDs W&W had kept in their stack.
Informally known as the “Clock ID” by many fans, it got its debut play eight long months ago. In between this period, NWYR also unveiled the hypnotic and intense “Ends Of Time”. This production resonated with vibrant melody, supported with powerful synths and the unmistakable dynamics. Addition to this was alluring vocal in the breakdown, which took the cake with ease. Now let us talk about the latest work which blows off the dance floor with its vigour!
Starting with majestic saw and chiming synths, this brief segment progresses towards the first drop in full pace. Hitting with force, the introductory drop straps in with triplet psy-trance bass, only to change to synth riffs and percussion-laden groove. Stepping into the main breakdown, the leading role is taken by the previous synth supplemented with atmospheric pads. Faltering to a full stop, the track elegantly brings up the highlighted element: a ticking clock riser. Elevating the energy, the enhanced super saw materializes, reverberating with stamina, playing out a spell-binding melody. Without delay, all the leading components join forces for generating the final round of drop. If mesmerising has a definition, this drop defines it satisfyingly!
Summarising, NWYR have adroitly manufactured another festival weapon, ready to be utilized in any dance-floor without second thoughts!
