• The second collaboration between Will K & Jebu after “Elephant’s Rage”
• Unexpected tribal vibes on Axwell’s label
• Keeps an electro temperament, further embedded with a rhythmic backdrop

Two talents from Australia have teamed up for the second time, for the track ‘Boomshaka’. It got released on Swedish luminary Axwell’s imprint Axtone. Their preceding record together was ‘Elephant Rage’, which got unveiled last year on eminent Fonk Recordings, and is still dominating the charts on Beatport official site.

Will K, hailing from Melbourne has released many tracks in the past on huge labels like Spinnin, Fonk & Sosumi. His breakthrough came with his release ‘Here Comes The Sun’ on Armada, which was later remixed by renowned Tom Staar & Genairo Nvilla. Jebu, another native of Melbourne, has his name on a couple of big labels like Size Records, Sosumi & Metanoia. His breakthrough came on Size Recordings, following up collaboration with Ivan Gough’s ‘Noxu’.

Now coming up with the track ‘Boomshaka’, is nonetheless a good sequel of “Elephant Rage”! This record is simply fresh & energetic, which is pretty impressive considering its Jebu’s Axtone début release. This team-up has resulted in spunky drums complementing a sonorous instrumental, spiking the energy levels. The breakdown features a teasing melody, signalling the listener of the oncoming drop. Hitting with flair, the following segment of drop ropes in metallic synth line over a pumping bassline. With the festival requisite gusto, both the breakdown and drop amp up the atmosphere with electricity!

To sum up in a few words, “Boomshaka” is a majestic and dynamic addition to the Axtone family.
