Jack Wins ft. Rae Hall – Feel My Love

April 27, 20182 min read

78\100

You might have learned in our interview with Jack Wins that this British talent would have many surprises for his fans, and in fact, he is back with a solid release on AFTR:HRS, Tiesto’s sublabel. “Feel My Love” manages to mix elegant old-school vibes with an aggressive future house approach very well, without compromising on the signature Jack Wins happy vibes!

Vocalist Rae Hall plays a fundamental role in this track. Some of you may know her from “Lose Myself” her excellent collaboration with Kharfi and once again she did a fantastic job with “Feel My Love”.

The tune, in fact, begins with a classic future house groovy mood. Rae Hall takes the command with a romantic verse which is accompanied by a piano lead by Jack Wins. This piano imparts the distinct “happy vibes” of Jack Wins style, but the melody is somehow classic and old school. The typical listener would expect a predictable drop, but nope. Jack Wins scored again with a surprising dark drop.

It’s not 100% dark (in the second section the piano is back, which lends it a sort of duality and creates a balance), but it was a pleasant surprise. A strong bassline, together with an excellent bouncy kick, creates a refreshing mood. It is, as said, between aggressive and elegant, a result that we decided to reward with a solid 78\100.

Jack Wins already surprised us with his great future house releases, and we are glad that Tiesto noticed it! “Feel My Love” is an interesting song, slightly radio-oriented, but it doesn’t absolutely lack in personality. We loved how Jack Wins worked ingeniously on a classic break and then surprised the listener with a strong and captivating drop. Special mention to Rae Hall of course, for that classy & delicious vocal.

AFTR:HRS sometimes consigns pure gems to its listeners, and “Feel My Love” is exactly one of those chef-d’ œuvres.
