NWYR – Ends Of Time

The Dutch titans W&W have released yet another powerful and vibrant tune this month, but by their popular alternative trance project, NWYR. After releasing “God Is A Girl” with the eminent German band Groove Coverage, the Dutch power-duo have switched to their alternative name… Under the alias NWYR, they unveiled another enchanting melodic and progressive trance production, entitled “Ends Of Time”.

Being debuted almost a year ago in Ultra Miami (NWYR’s debut set), the song finally has seen the light of the day. “Ends If Time” undeniably has an extremely engaging melody, whose progression and dreaminess gets amalgamated with intensive and dominating synths.

Starting with a calm atmosphere, a pluck synth introduces the melody, intensifying every second. However, the climax builds up rapidly as soaring supersaw synths materialize themselves, instantly enhancing the ambience and the emotional quotient. The expected riser comes in at the right moment, slowly building up the energy to let it rapidly flow to the rushing and dynamic drop.

Hitting with the serene and vivid melody of the breakdown, the drop introduces the saw synths as it paces elegantly and adroitly. That part couldn’t be any better than this, exceeding the expectations with a giant leap.

The second breakdown brings in yet another lively element to compliment. A lovely female vocal edges over, alongside the compelling melody. The saw synths reintroduce themselves, leading the vocal in a snazzy manner. Escalating the things again, the riser sweeps in, letting the superior drop impact with potency.

“Ends Of Time” is another “recherche” from this prodigious duo, and is definitely not to be missed.

I thought this song was a bit lazy, just like Dragon before it. At least Dragon had a decent melody but I feel like I’ve heard this song a thousand times already. The vocals are fine, but I would mix out the drop if I bothered enough to download this track.
