The well known American Producer Seven Lions, best known for his ensnaring and atmospheric productions, has revealed his latest production titled “Calling You Home”. This beautiful melodic dubstep tune is featuring a charming luscious voice from a talented vocalist, Runn.
Runn is not a new name to us (if you are an Illenium fan, you can’t miss their collab “Free Fall”), and we were excited to check “Calling You Home”. As expected, the song is wonderful, one of the best works in recent times from the American producer!
With time, we have been made well aware that Seven Lions is capable of inducing myriads of emotions in his works, which makes it even alluring. Talking about this track, there is no exception. The backdrop weaves around the leading vocal, keeping a distinctive rhythm while at the same time dynamic and vivid.
Initiating with soaring pads and strings, the vocal simultaneously comes in. Grooving along with a snare beat, breakdown focuses on the sublime effect created by the combination of elements. Following, the riser adeptly transitions to the robust drop.
The subsequent segment of the drop is perhaps the most powerful from the overall production. An unusual melodic synth edges, as the future bass saw synths intensify along with it. To add more peppiness is the strong thumping snare and glitches. Two words which would describe this drop would be, creative and well – crafted! The Seven Lions melodic dubstep approach mixed emotional future bass elements with a characteristic growl, together with a catchy melody. A classic.
Summing up, “Calling You Home” is a beautiful song from Seven Lions. The vocal by Runn, without doubt, plays a major role too. It undoubtedly creates the right vibe and mood, making this production a lovely jewel in this month collection!
