Will Sparks continues to show his good music shape with his last 2017 release, “Bad Connection”, out now on Maxximize!
The dark song follows a similar “underground” structure of the previous Will Sparks release on Spinnin’ “What I Do”. It’s clear that the Australian star is experimenting a slightly minimalistic approach to Bounce, a really interesting idea. However, in this release, we clearly feel his signature heavy bassline and his hypnotic melodies.
In conclusion, there is a 25% of experimentation, but the rest is classic Will Sparks bouncy style. It’s a formula that will surely enthusiasm fans!
Another important detail of the production is Luciana’s superb vocal. The English singer shows once again her skills with a catchy and energetic job. It’s not a mystery that the combination Bounce-Luciana is one of the most effective ever: her voice is perfect for those jobs.
In addition, the violin lead added in the buildup is an elegant idea, that gave some unpredictable sparks to this bouncy bomb. The minimalistic melody of the drop can surprise you at first, but then it adds some complex riffs, concluding with Luciana’s voice.
“Bad Connection” is a song that shows why Will Sparks is still one the best Bounce artists around. A solid collaboration, with the right creativity. Absolutely satisfying.
