The new giant collaboration “Flight 49” between Blasterjaxx, D3FAI and Wasback has lifted off, and I really dig it!

Wasback is one of the most promising talents of the industry, D3FAI is ruling the acid electro house scene, and Blasterjaxx… Well, no need to tell you who they are. Together, the result is both wonderful and a bit unexpected.

“Flight 49” has a lot of D3FAI vibes in the drop, but Wasback gave a huge hand to the break part, bassline (superb), and the kick. In my humble opinion, he brought this track to another level, because the drop is one of the most solid I’ve heard this month. Blasterjaxx edited some details and helped with the master, and the break has their usual touch in the supersaws, even if more melodic than usual.

The genial move is the choice of the vocal, however. I wasn’t expecting to hear such a strange vocal, but that’s what makes “Flight 49” even more special! It’s seems made by a flight officer, and even if it’s a bit dominated by the base, it represents the icing on the cake here. Personality, that’s what I look on a track.

Even if the song reminds me Afrojack a lot, thanks to D3FAI influence, the superlative bassline and the always fresh break take “Flight 49” up in the sky, directed to my favorite top 5 of the month.

Awesome collab, as expected when I read the names involved.
