Halloween Special: Out Of The Circus, Psycho & Armageddon

October 31, 20173 min read

Happy Halloween!
We picked three scary songs for you in relationship with this celebration. We hope you will get scared enough by them!

Killer Clowns – Out Of The Circus (Halloween Edit)

I will take a big breath and try to forget who Killer Clowns are. Prankers. I noticed they produce too, but I don’t like them since when they created a clown alarm in USA last year because people were imitating them.

However, Revealed picked a spooky electro tune for Halloween, “Out Of The Circus” and they have chosen right (sigh). The vocal, the scary lead, the creative drop, the laughs… Perfect atmosphere. It slightly reminds me of Timmy Trumpet, but without Trumpet, and it fits perfectly with Halloween, so…
I am surprised to say that, but Killer Clowns impressed me.

Syzz – Psycho

Syzz definitively dropped something really interesting. “Psycho” explores the “terror” side of Halloween. The duo brought the scariest version of the “Donut” lead, took inspiration from the legendary Hitchcock movie, and created this banger. TNC decided to publish something not only good for Halloween, but something scary during every period of the year. And extremely powerful of course. What I mean is that “Psycho” is indirectly related with the celebration, the main theme is the movie. This gives a further level to the idea, in my opinion. The break, in addition, is splendidly scary and powerful, what a balanced work here!

I liked it very much, it follows Syzz rules, with an heavy “creepy” variation.

Scary Noise – Armageddon

Here we are on another level of Halloween-relationship.
I think that the artist name and style is the most “Halloweenistic” ever, Exposed found a rare gem. Scary Noise impressed me since I read the title: I was sure to find something scary and noisy.

The break is delightful. I loved the distorted lead, the sudden growls, the heavy bass… It’s almost a dubstep break, for me. After a quick buildup we have a splendid dark progressive drop. It has a heavy electro/dubstep influence, and it’s, in few words, SPECTACULAR.

Apart from being unique, this actually scared me. The growls here are insane, and “Armageddon” is actually destroying everything in musical terms. What a banger, even if unusual this is a fantastic track.
Add to the calculation that we are under Halloween, the result is a deadly combination. Speechless on this one.
