With the future bass trend, it’s really hard to find appreciable tunes. We are continuously invaded by generic music, but sometimes we managed to find some interesting gems.
The gem of today is a cool remix of “Pick Me Up” by Lindo Habie from Indonesia.
As already said, with tons of producers releasing generic future bass, I made a hasty conclusion: it has become too predictable and same sounding. But no, I was proven wrong! Lindo Habie has adeptly remixed the pop/chill tune from Chin Chilla (another worth mentioning duo) and has made the already catchier tune more groovy and compelling.
The remix uses a different pluck synth for the same melody, but it’s really appreciable. Giving a future bass/trap influence over the lovely vocals, the riser comes in smoothly to lead into the unique and imposing drop. It has a leading organ sounding synth, which catches more attention, and not only that the chords really go very well with the remix, giving a very ear candy appeal.
So, in conclusion, what there is here better than the other future bass tracks out there?
I personally want to say the sweetness. Lindo has managed to make something romantic and emotional, calm and genuine. The remix is future bass not because it’s trending, but because it’s the best genre for this kind of vocal. It relaxed me, it amazed me, and I really recommend listening to it!
