Wohooo, super aggressive hard\big room track today!
After some weeks of silence, Metanoia restarts to roar with a massive collaboration between Seth Hills and Pitchback, “Lethal”.
If you are a Revealed Recordings fan, you surely know those guys, since their careers launched thanks to two important releases. I’m talking about the epic “Cosmic Dark” by Pitchback and the “Raise Your Hands/Get ‘M” EP by Seth Hills (obviously I’m talking about his new alias, not his previous career).
So, the artists teamed up and the result is a balanced and strong song. “Lethal” is, for me, 50% Pitchback and 50% Seth Hills, and since they have a complementary and similar style, I was really hyped for it. The tune is exactly what I was expecting: solid, raw and savage.
The initial break is fresh and creative: some elegant violins play together with an interesting scheme of drums, creating an anxious buildup for the drop. No words needed here: it’s the characteristic big room-almost rawstyle drop. Honestly, the melody is not the best of Pitchback’s discography, but the Seth Hills lead is majestic as always!
With the rawstyle saws, that part is aggressive and fibrous… Even if you are not a fan of the sub-genre, I’m sure you will notice it! The energy released by their talents always impress me: such an enormous amount of power needs to be underlined!
In the end, I’m satisfied by “Lethal”. Metanoia, even if it has some periods of silence, is always back with fresh stuff… And important names that never disappoint, of course. Pitchback and Seth Hills did a nice job, with the right amount of creativity in the break and their typical energy in the drop. A solid collaboration.
