Tomorrowland – a Digital Show?

June 19, 20201 min read

Since commencement of lockdown and self-isolation period, there has been a gargantuan decline in outdoor events. With nearly all festivals postponed till the next year or so, some have come up with another solution to this: online events.

Approaching this methodology, the Belgium held esteemed festival TomorrowLand has also decided the same. “Around The World”, as it was announced last week, will be hosted on July 25th and the day after on the TomorrowLand website live. However, to get access, one has to pay amounts varying from 14-20$ for passes, whose sale would start on 18th of this month.

There are significant changes which are worth talking about. For starters, people of all ages are welcome instead of only adults aged 18. Also, there will be virtual 3D map, separate stages, webinars and games added alongside. There has been no clarity whether original ticket holders of the previously cancelled event would get free access or not, as no refund was initiated from the company.

Will you be a part of this virtual experience? Let us know in the comments below!
