Most of the people may know the technological whiz Elon Musk for his funny Twitter memes or for his PR stunts, but the eccentric billionaire has worn many hats. He has an almost unerring vision about the future, and his companies are following it, obviously accompanied by risky investments. We can nominate, from Musk’s ideas, Zip2, predicting in the noughties that ev
ery business will have its own website. Tesla bringing the concept of “electric car” to reality, PayPal, which revolutionized the concept of an “online wallet”, and the risking venture of SpaceX, the first private company to launch a rocket in the atmosphere… Musk is undeniably one of the finest cognoscenti of our era.
Intellects are often known to be somewhat extravagant. From smoking weed during a podcast to using an anime pic as Twitter image, Musk is a beloved figure in the meme community thanks to his exploits.
Past Friday, he announced his latest creation, “Don’t Doubt Ur Vibe”, and, even if the some part of the audience are considering its a random trick for public engagement, but it is definitely more than it meets the eye, starting from the title.
Musk has apparently composed the idea all by himself (a millionaire artist with no co-producer, a genuine surprise!), vocal included. There are noticeable efforts poured in this relaxing and melodic Deep House with its pretty catchy atmosphere. Even though not our cup of tea, but these vocals were absolutely on point!
Sure, if it was made by an unnamed producer behind the scene, we would have overlooked “Don’t Doubt Ur Vibe”. It’s encouraging to see such an important figure entering EDM and bringing passion in it. No commercial stuff (see, Hilton?), no ghost-production, just an underground and relaxing song that represents the vibe of one of the geniuses of this century.
