Past Monday, Dutch luminary John Christian came up with mammoth of a release on Tiesto’s heavyweight imprint Musical Freedom, titled ‘Let’s Get This Thing Started’.
This track is a supposed follow-up of his previous release, “The Grimm“. Released on Musical Freedom couple of years back, the sequel has resulted in a massive and energetic bigroom anthem, debuted by headman Tiesto himself in EDC 2018.
Talking about the record, the minimal and simple introduction is followed up by a charging melody. Keeping a good synchronizing alongside the bassline, the instrumental has the typical beat, that could be expected by any Electro House fanatic.
The drop segment, equipped with a striking kick, is a definitive signature to hear in John Christian’s productions. Distorted and teasing synths in the drop work accordingly with the stamina-enriched melody to provide the “Festival” sound. Leading that, the main breakdown features a catchy and vibrant melody hook to keep the listener attached to the groove.
Just like his recent releases, “Let’s Get This Thing Started” verifies various parameters anticipated for a good production, including the huge and massive feeling throughout. I certainly look forward to his upcoming works this year!
