Audien & ARTY – Never Letting Go

• Peaceful result
• A delicate yet energetic essence
• Stunning progressive melody

It’s Friday when I’m writing this review, and I’m so tired… It has been a stressful week. “Never Letting Go” has procured a magical effect to my tired brain: a sensation of peaceful relaxation. Two stars of the progressive house genre teamed up and concocted a medicine for repose, not just a song.

The two artists are notorious in the progressive house scene for their huge achievements. Hits like “Perfect Strangers”, “Sunrise” among others from Arty and “Something Better” and “One More Weekend” by Audien are irrevocable proofs for the same!

“Never Letting Go” is a sweet and delicate instrumental tune, released via Anjunabeats. The vocal represents a minimal aspect of this composition: it’s only a calm voice in the background, adding a pinch of personality to an already stunning base. The magical element is the pattern of notes, playing in a hypnotic, slow, yet solid structure.

“Never Letting Go” reaches an almost perfect balance, presenting a relaxing atmosphere but maintaining a pure and candid energy. The Arty melody is a real masterpiece, combined with the Audien euphoric bassline. It’s powerful enough to deliver a catchy drop but never exceeded with aggressiveness.

Like a crystal statue, “Never Letting Go” must be handled carefully. Its diaphanous essence is a rare jewel in nowadays’ scene… From such important artists, I found the expected amount of talent. Both styles shined and impressed me. I loved how it literally calmed me after a bad week, and I hope it will have the same effect on you!
