The two up and coming French artists are back again, on leading Dutch label Protocol Recordings. Their last single with Tom Tyger ‘One Too Many’ which was a massive hit and is still going strong on the charts and clubs. While it was indicative that it wasn’t the last of what we saw of them, they released further without much of a hiatus!
Protocol have been releasing quality and distinctive tracks, making the fans feel eloquent. This is not a surprising part, as both the label owner Nicky Romero and talented new names are pushing the label to new peaks.
Now, about this composition, ‘House Pride’ starts with a good rhythmic beat followed by a good vocal drop, featuring a shuffling beat. The breakdown gives highlight to the charming vocal hook and breakbeat, as the other instruments gather intensity in the backdrop. The song gets even more seductive later, with the recognizable French house groove going along. Utilizing chiming synths and plucky synths, it further escalates with soulful tone. Presenting a perfect combo of harmonic vibes, there is an augmentation of unique elements for the rhythm.
Overall, ‘House Pride’ leans towards simplistic arrangements, yet elegant and vibrant to listen to!
